Squashni and Roshni sounders

For new FirePoint-2 installations we recommend the use of alarm sounders rather than old-style electromagnetic bells. Alarm sounders are more reliable than bells and draw less current, consequently it is possible to fit many more of them.

We stock two basic ranges of alarm sounders.

The Squashni sounder is often referred to as a “sandwich” sounder because it’s usually fitted between the ceiling and detector-base.

The Roshni sounders are designed to be wall or ceiling mounted “stand-alone” units.
